We serve individuals from eighteen months to twenty one years. We
serve individuals in Duval County, St. Johns County, Clay County,
and other areas of North East Florida. At Ponte Vedra Behavioral
Health, we provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
services for individuals with an established diagnosis of Autism
Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other conditions for which ABA services
may be clinically appropriate.
Our services are designed to help individuals develop meaningful
skills, increase independence, strengthen communication, navigate
social and community environments, and participate more successfully
in everyday life.
We recognize that every individual is unique. Our approach is
centered on each person’s strengths, needs, preferences, abilities,
and meaningful goals, while partnering with caregivers to support
progress across everyday environments.
If You Are Seeking an Autism Evaluation
Ponte Vedra Behavioral Health does not diagnose Autism Spectrum
Disorder. Autism diagnosis is performed by appropriately qualified
healthcare or behavioral health professionals using established
diagnostic criteria and comprehensive evaluation procedures.
If an individual has not yet received an autism diagnosis, we
encourage families to seek an evaluation from a qualified
diagnostic professional. Once an appropriate diagnosis and
referral are established, our clinical team can work with the
individual, family, and other members of the care team to
determine whether ABA services are appropriate.
Our Focus: Meaningful Progress
ABA is not simply about reducing behaviors. We focus on teaching
meaningful, functional skills that improve quality of life and
increase opportunities for independence and participation.
We establish individualized goals, measure progress, collaborate
with caregivers, and celebrate every single step forward.
Together, we work toward bringing hopes and wishes into
meaningful, lasting changes.
How Is Autism Diagnosed?
Autism Spectrum Disorder is diagnosed through a comprehensive
evaluation by a qualified healthcare or behavioral health
professional. Diagnostic professionals consider developmental
history, current functioning, clinical observations, and
standardized assessment tools in determining whether an individual
meets established diagnostic criteria.
Ponte Vedra Behavioral Health does not independently diagnose
Autism Spectrum Disorder. We provide individualized ABA services
for individuals with an established diagnosis and collaborate with
families and other qualified professionals to support meaningful
treatment goals.
